Do you take advantage of opportunities? Do you know what opportunity is; what it looks like? Dictionary.com describes opportunity as an appropriate or favorable time or condition; a situation or condition favorable for attainment of a goal; a good position, chance, or prospect, as for advancement or success. I tell my clients you can’t wait for your ship to come in at the airport. We may have an idea of what we want to happen but although we were given free will it must align itself with God’s will for our personal achievement. We must pray for God’ s guidance and meditate in order to listen for the guidance we have requested.

I have worked hundreds of personal inventories, dissecting my life into minute particles trying to separate the wheat from the chaff. In the inventory process I must be searching and thorough, moreover I must be fearless. Fearless is non-judgment. The only way I can remain fearless is to remove my judgment until the inventory is finished. When all the particles are down on paper I can evaluate the direction my life is going and see God’s handiwork. The greatest opportunities in my life, looked like problems at the time. People have been removed that stifled my growth and people were put in my life to teach me lessons.

Life is merely a classroom, whereas God’s lesson plan is personally laid out for me. I cannot judge myself against anyone if I am to find my personal spiritual journey. I am similar to some and different from others. We all have similar characteristics and yet in all the two hundred and five billion people who have cohabitated the planet I am the only me, with the only exact DNA. Opportunity is the ability to see God working in our minds and in our lives. The Bible says, “Judge not.” When you can see life neutral you are on your way, you are on your way to Nirvana. The best way to find your opportunity is to always remember…

Your Life is PERFECT!

About Randolph Ek

My name is Dr. Randolph Ek, Mpsy.D. I started life as one of five children of an alcoholic father. The physical and mental abuse nearly destroyed my life. In fact my self-destructive behavior nearly landed me in prison. I eventually was guided to an alcohol/drug counselor and he directed me to a rehabilitation center. Since that time I have spent more than thirty years devoted to helping people find their ultimate potential. We can blame our negative, spiraling life on victimization but until we accept responsibility the power we need is beyond us. When we accept our part in our lives and surrender to a higher power, which I choose to call God, intervention is immediate. God allows us to realize our true power. We are all made in God’s Image and Likeness and have all the power of the universe at our disposal. We are not victims; we are volunteers and once we believe this truth our lives become limitless. God wants us all to have our heart’s desire and he will deliver whatever we continually think about good or bad. Unless I start my day off powerless and humble I cannot make the spiritual connection required to tap into God’s limitless power. God loves mankind and refuses to leave anyone behind. We can go willingly or we can be dragged to salvation. Pain is merely a symptom of spiritual separation mind, body and spirit. Realize, your individual limited resources, seek help, join others in their quest for spiritual understanding. Realize that all religions are right, yet they are also incomplete.
