Godliness

Genesis 2:7 of the Holy Bible (KJV), it is stated, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” This declares that we are a piece of God. We are his breath. We are at one with him and without him we have no life. Life is being Godly. When I hear the word Christian I think Christ like and yet I have never met a Christian I would consider Christ like. So, becoming is probably the best we humans will ever achieve in trying to be Christ like or God like. Godliness therefore, is a practice more than a destination.

I practice living within a set of principles relating to God or Love. Patience, tolerance, helpfulness, gratitude, compassion, etc. are examples of spiritual principles. Giving one’s best in following spiritual principle is Godliness. When we fall victim of our human condition or Ego we lose sight of our Godliness and fail or sin. I prefer sin to be a stumble more than a fall. As soon as I recognize my separation from God I am alerted by pain and I immediately return to oneness and am brought back into the Garden of Eden and am surrounded with God’s love.

I may not be able to stay spiritually focused constantly, but God provided pain as a symptom of Godlessness. The longer I am free from all my addictions, the better I can stay focused on God and eventually meld God into all my human existence Through constant prayer and meditation I am guided by God to develop new spiritual habits that override my human habits. I learn to trust in God to show me how to find his way for me, which is my ultimate potential. If you want to learn how to find your personal map to the Garden of Eden remember…

About Randolph Ek

My name is Dr. Randolph Ek, Mpsy.D. I started life as one of five children of an alcoholic father. The physical and mental abuse nearly destroyed my life. In fact my self-destructive behavior nearly landed me in prison. I eventually was guided to an alcohol/drug counselor and he directed me to a rehabilitation center. Since that time I have spent more than thirty years devoted to helping people find their ultimate potential. We can blame our negative, spiraling life on victimization but until we accept responsibility the power we need is beyond us. When we accept our part in our lives and surrender to a higher power, which I choose to call God, intervention is immediate. God allows us to realize our true power. We are all made in God’s Image and Likeness and have all the power of the universe at our disposal. We are not victims; we are volunteers and once we believe this truth our lives become limitless. God wants us all to have our heart’s desire and he will deliver whatever we continually think about good or bad. Unless I start my day off powerless and humble I cannot make the spiritual connection required to tap into God’s limitless power. God loves mankind and refuses to leave anyone behind. We can go willingly or we can be dragged to salvation. Pain is merely a symptom of spiritual separation mind, body and spirit. Realize, your individual limited resources, seek help, join others in their quest for spiritual understanding. Realize that all religions are right, yet they are also incomplete.
