Crisis

As a metaphysical psychologist, I never get a client until their life reaches a crisis. It is human nature to accept the status quo instead of continually working for ultimate potential. It is my Ego that learns to settle and it is my Soul that is constantly pushing me to be my best. I almost lost the battle between my Soul and my Ego as I tended to accept physical pleasure in place of spiritual contentment or happiness. I was absorbed in my physical and the pleasure I sought blinded me to my spiritual self which created my crisis.

Crisis is described by Dictionary.com as a dramatic emotional or circumstantial upheaval in a person’s life; a condition of instability or danger, as in social, economic, political or international affairs, leading to a decisive change. I believe upheaval is created by our human nature separating itself from our spiritual nature. Separating us from our spiritual self removes us from love, driving us into fear. It also removes our intuitive self and our decisions drive us into crisis. It is crisis that reminds us of our limitations, reminding us of our need for spiritual guidance.

God did not invent pain as a punishment; merely as a symptom of spiritual depletion. God is jealous as we were meant to be one with God and nothing else will work. We were given free will to decide on our lives, but God loves us enough to make separation from God to painful to bare. We seek many earthly pleasure to hide from the pain but only realigning ourselves with God will once again restore us to our spiritual destiny of happiness, joy and freedom. I am constantly taking a moral inventory of my life and only perfect happiness is acceptable. The way I stay in aware is to remember…

Comfort

Comfort is the Nirvana of the American people. Americans find comfort so often and in so many ways that they are probably the most addicted people on the planet. Comfort, according to Dictionary.com covers a broad spectrum so I will offer you the one I want to talk about; a state of ease and satisfaction of bodily wants, with freedom from pain and anxiety.  We are probably the most stressed nation on the planet and with a cataclysmic effect on the psyche we tend to always be looking for some form of comfort.

We have one of if not the highest alcoholism and drug addiction rates in the world. Almost 50% of our citizens are obese. We have almost a 50% divorce rate as people are trying to find happiness in relationships without the years necessary to find compatibility. And if that isn’t enough, many states have recently voted to allow recreational marijuana use. If we would slow down and allow God to guide us through the use of prayer and meditation, we would de-stress our lives and find the comfort we seek in the way of a spiritual relationship.

It took me years to fire God as my Janitor, cleaning up the remnants of my out of control life and rehire him as my Scout. If one is going to get the best out of the guidance of a good scout one must be patient and always communicate with it in order to clarify one’s direction. I try not to make a decision until I have researched as many different views of my problems until I see them as opportunities. To lose my need for comfort, I must first see my opportunities and carefully move on them as if they are meant to be a blessing as there is no hurry. Be patient, pray, meditate and know by always remembering…

Meaning

Does your life have meaning? Meaning according to Dictionary.com is what is intended to be, or actually is, expressed or indicated; the end, purpose or significance of something. The more current application for meaning is intent. A goal guided by a plan and manifested by action is mere motion if not backed by meaning or intent. We need to have at least a vague idea of what we want to be when we grow up or growing up is at best painful. People who have significant success have decided on meaning in their life and have taken the proper action.

A life without meaning is guided primarily by Ego. I call this misaligned way of living, living in automatic. Meaning brings us from our unconscious or automatic mode to a state of consciousness. Living a conscious life opens our intuitive self or God consciousness. When we are moving forward in a meaningful way we are more apt to find ourselves moving within God’s design for us. We were meant to all have a valid and purposeful life and are drawn away from it by parents, teachers, friends or other

Man is generally led the way which he is inclined to go. ~ The Talmud (500-200 BC). We don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we are! ~ Zen Buddhism (200-01 BC). For millenniums we have known that it is meaning that directs our life and are all given it through our DNA and spiritual guidance. Through prayer and meditation, we can align ourselves with God who will direct us to our meaning and with meaning we can align ourselves to our ultimate purpose. Action

I was told a long time ago, “If you want more do more!” This tells me that whatever I want in my life will probably be achieved by taking some form of specific action. Action, according to Dictionary.com, means an act that one consciously wills and that may be characterized by physical or mental activity. It goes on by describing action as  actions,  habitual or usual acts; conduct; energetic activity; an exertion of power or force; effect or influence. An idea eventually dies if not pursued by some sort of action.

I use to assault my life with action. Action without intent is mere motion! I have had sixty jobs in seven different career fields. Running either from something or to something is not a plan. The only good thing that came out of all that running was that whether I knew it or not I was being blessed by God. God guided my insanity toward my current career of Metaphysical Psychologist and allows me to utilize all my life experiences in working toward a spiritual goal and no longer a material goal.

Depending on your personality type you may either be overactive or underactive. Staying active puts you in the stream of life and God is in charge of the stream. I use to have God in my life as a custodian; cleaning up the debris I left in my wildness. Today God is my scout as God knows all the universe and can guide me to my ultimate potential. To utilize a scout one must request direction through prayer and through meditation, quiet the mind listen to what the scout may have to offer. If you want to allow God to guide you in your life I would suggest that you remember…
