Children

We are responsible to our children. We must be the strength, the intelligence, the morality, the trust we want from our next generation. The definition of children, according to Dictionary.com is any person or thing regarded as the product or result of particular agencies, influences, etc. The key to this definition is product. Our children are not products of ancestry alone. Our children are products of their upbringing.

Individuality or personality is ingrained in our DNA. This DNA is oftentimes concealed by our environmental DNA or the way we were brought up. Good parenting enhances our DNA while poor parenting drives DNA into obscurity. Our DNA is perfect. We are perfect. God’s plan for our lives is perfect. So what goes wrong? When we think we know better than our children what they prefer, we interfere with their DNA leading them to their ultimate self.

As a Metaphysical Psychologist, it is my job to help people return to their DNA. I crawl into people’s minds and pull slivers that pervert or modify their DNA. When people find the fallacy of their intention and learn that God supports who we were born to be and not what others have chosen for us. When we return to our childhood, before we were polluted, we find our ultimate self and feel loved and accepted within crowding out the need for outward support. If you want to know if you are living your best life remember…

Back

The definition of back from Dictionary.com I would like to examine is belonging to the past. I have left an area and gone back several times in my life and have realized you can never really go back. Although I was away life continued for them as well as for me and without our interchange we all moved in different directions. The people, the landscape and even the political landscape changes when we separate ourselves and our ideas from the environment. When one leaves an area and comes back to little change it usually means they have little impact on their surroundings.

There will never be a time machine as reverse has been removed from our universal transmission. We have been blessed with a memory so we can look back in our past in order to relearn from our so called mistakes. We have been equally blessed with the inability to go back in our past or relive it. I always tell my clients that the reason the rear view mirror is so small in comparison to the windshield is that our primary direction is forward.

I reevaluate my past often in order to not be blessed with similar lessons I refused to learn from in my past. Déjà vu is usually receiving a similar experience we refused to learn from the first time. If we don’t learn God’s lessons, we are gifted with similar experiences till we learn from them. This is the closest to going back God will allow us. I often hear, “I wish I could go back and have a second chance,” and my advice to them is always, “Your second chance is ahead of you!” If you want a second chance to go BACK, remember…

Development

Today, while playing golf, I realized that the problem with my golf game wasn’t that my swing was bad, but my rhythm, balance and timing were off. When I lose confidence in my golf swing, I try to make it happen, hindering its development, with lousy results. When we hurry or try to control anything we tend to hinder its development. Dictionary.com defines development as the process of bringing out the capabilities of; bring to a more advanced or effective state; to cause to grow, expand or elaborate. I call it letting things just happen!

God has designed the universe and controls it perfectly. Everything in the universe has a process and needs to be allowed to develop. I have been trying to control my life for so many years that I tend to try to rush it and not allow it to develop. When I relax, show up, suit up and let life happen instead of make life happen life develops perfectly and my approval or disapproval is the only portion of the universe that isn’t perfect. When I just live my life all the wrinkles eventually get ironed out.

I know that if I take the time to practice my golf swing I achieve confidence in it and let it develop the way I spent years designing it to. When I don’t take the time to practice I think I can fix it with more aggression. This always comes back to bite me in the derriere. Golf is a carbon copy of my life. When I pray and meditate or practice talking and listening to God, I acquire faith or confidence in God and stay away from disrupting God’s plans. Knowing that God always get the last word in anything helps me to just live. To know what needs to be allowed to develop all I need to do is let go and remember…
