Easter

Happy Easter to all. Whether you are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist or any faith you must believe in love if you believe in God. Love is a thought, a feeling and a place. Love can be found at every frequency in the universe. Love is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. Love is God. Love is everything; as wherever there seems to be no love, there is fear and fear is merely an illusion, as a vacuum is merely an illusion in the universe.

Love conquers all as it is all. Love cannot be expressed as it is much larger than that. I love all that I can and if you accept it with all that you can we still are very short of God’s love. “So God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son to die for us.” I know Christians say they believe this phrase and yet they still feel guilty for sins that God forgives. It is the ultimate love or grace that love actually is. Love is all and any distance from grace creates the illusion of fear. Fear creates the illusion of vacuum and love rushes in to expel the fear and renew the love.

Easter is a grand occasion for all the earth as it is a time of rebirth. It is time for all of us to arise from our fears and allow the grace of God to bless us. It is time to believe in God’s love for us and realize God cannot take away from us the life that is his. We are made in God’s image and likeness and as his children we are blessed with God’s grace. Believe! Enjoy this day and take this enjoyment into every second of every day for the rest of your life. And always remember…

Leadership

Are you a leader? If not, why not? A leader knows the way. He or she only knows the way that is right for them. Because most of society lacks confidence, they are constantly looking for someone to follow. Most people are lost. They have not learned to, “PAY ATTENTION!” There is only God and not God in all the universe. Love is God and fear is not God. This is a simple determination of right or wrong. This is known as conscience and once people reattach themselves to their conscience their journey will gain understanding.

I start my leadership as accepting myself as a one-of-a-kind individual. I am not a copy. If I am a copy, I am a forgery. I love what God has designed in me. I have seen myself as strengths and weaknesses my whole life. Now I know I am both a whole and a piece. God is not all or nothing; God is all and nothing. I cannot know the part of me that is human if I don’t look at my whole and I cannot see my spiritual aspect if I don’t see myself as a piece. It takes discipline to stay focused in the NOW to see my total self.

Firstly I must find confidence or faith by allowing God to lead me. I desperately seek guidance on how to develop myself from my connection with God. In that connection I have found that in my strengths I find my leadership and in my weakness I find my humility. I cannot lead if I cannot follow as I need to try and meet the needs of my followers. I am in equal need of humility if I am to lead and I am in dire need of confidence if I am to lead. I find both my humility and confidence in God.

Secondly I lead my family. I am a male therefore I am primarily right soul. I am intellectual and have limited surface emotion. I bestow upon my family rational thought and look to them for my lack of emotion. My family is deeply moved when I display emotion because they know how deeply I have been touched. Women are more left soul, or emotional, and need logic to balance them out. Now please understand that I am talking in generalities and some men are right soul and some women are left soul.

Thirdly I have a much larger family called the planet. My family tree is from leaf to root; God, me, family, community, county, state, country, planet and God again (dust to dust). It is imperative that I bestow and acceptance upon each individual in my life the same free will that God has bestowed upon me. There are behaviors in society I personally don’t believe in but I know it is their cross to bear and not mine. I certainly have the right to have an opinion but not the right to force the world to live in the narrow mind I have created by my judgment. If I am diligent in my honoring God by my behavior I should see a long line beside me as that is how I choose to lead. And as always remember…

Sacrifice

Sacrifice, according to the Encarta Dictionary, means a giving up of something valuable or important for somebody or something else considered to be of more value or importance. I used to look at people who had things or positions I envied as having sacrificed to achieve. Today I realize that people with true intelligence never sacrifice, they merely revalue their lives. When we value time more than stuff we are quick to let stuff go. This is why the license on my vehicle is LET.

To achieve greatness we must learn to prioritize. Until the things that are needed to create greatness are priority one then we look at our lives as a sacrifice and difficult to make decisions. When we replace sacrifice with willingness our decisions are much easier and our success is guaranteed. When I sacrifice I fight with myself but when I exchange my priorities willingly, things run like a well oiled machine. I never know from day to day what my priorities should be so I spend much time in communion with God to subdue my stress and strengthen my resolve.

As a recovering alcoholic I never sacrifice. I willingly turn my life and will over to the care of God. I pray and meditate until I have a peace and then I hit the road full speed ahead. I know that I have the right vehicle, on the right road, at precisely the perfect time to achieve God’s will for me. The problems come when I think either I know what the outcome should look like or I lack the faith in God’s will for me.

Don’t sacrifice. Lovingly turn your life over to the care of God. If what you do benefits the greatness of others, as a fellow child of God it must also bless you. Be quick to revalue your life and learn to do what is right not necessarily what you want. I was told years ago, “You can either be right or happy.” Today I choose to be happy over anything. This is a good start to understanding…

Habits

Our behavior is molded by our habits. Our personality propensities are based on our DNA, but our general behavior is learned. We have physical, chemical, mental and spiritual energy moving our thoughts and feelings but our overall behavior is driven by our habits. Habits are the result of what we do constantly, whether consciously or unconsciously. The habits we build are our commitment to our ultimate potential.

It is said that, “Practice makes Perfect.” This statement is not true as, “Practice makes permanent. Perfect practice makes perfect.” If we want to have behavioral patterns that we are comfortable with we must stay conscious of the behaviors we have and build new habits that will mold the person we would love to be. If we continue to live in what I call automatic, then we will continue to behave the way we always have. And as Albert Einstein said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.”

Before we learn to build new habits we must learn how the mind works. The brain is a physical organ. It is a complex organ in which scientists are mostly clueless in how it functions but we have learned some significant functionality that will help us in achieving power over our behavior. The function of the brain we must look at is thought. Thought is called consciousness and there are three levels we must look at.

First there is subconscious mind. Subconscious mind is merely our memory. When we compare the memory of a past experience, which is infused with emotional baggage, to a current experience we may miss the lesson embedded in the current experience. If we would stop comparing our current life with our past life and merely experience we would learn our lessons much easier than arguing with our subconscious mind.

The second level of consciousness is conscious mind. This where we experience the “NOW.” Conscious mind is our experiential mind. We don’t need to compare our current experiences as our conscious mind is supported by our spiritual nature in the form of conscience. Conscience is what makes us feel good or bad about the experiences in our lives. We don’t need our rational mind if we can learn to stay in the now and utilize the combined efforts of conscious and conscience.

The third level of consciousness is super-conscious mind. This level of thought can only be accessed through the conscious mind and never when we are in our subconscious mind. This is why the Bible says that one must never judge. I have heard religious people say they can have righteous judgement but righteous judgement is “right thought judgement,” which is seeing everything in God’s universe as God’s order and command. Super-consciousness is the birthplace of intuition and all intuitive thought. It is said that deep super-conscious thought is God thought.

All levels of consciousness are necessary but to develop new habits we would do well in staying in within conscious and super-conscious mind. We need our conscience to keep us aware of the differentiation between love and fear. We must check our motives when building new habits. We must always try to build our new lives with love and our heredity of loving creativity. This is why I always remind you to…

Chicken or Egg?

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I guess we may never know. In fact it really doesn’t matter does it. There are things in life that do matter. A major point of interest to me and should be of interest to most of society, is the future of medicine and psychology. The health of our society needs to be of major interest to us all. We cannot continue to treat our health with such lack of regard. We must stop moving in a direction that is driving mankind over a cliff and face the thing that people seem to cringe over, CHANGE!

A science based psychologist, or pathologist, someone who studies illness, believes that the egg came first. They believe that much of human illness comes from chemical imbalance. They believe that if they can just balance the chemicals in their client’s system the thinking will eventually change and the illness will cure. The reality is that psychologists, as is all pathological study, is loosing the war. More people suffer from disease, both mental and physical than ever before. Pharmaceutical companies are getting rich at our expense, both physical and financial.

The problem with most drugs is that they work fine for temporary relief from symptoms but very few drugs actually cure anything. The problem with constant symptom screening is that symptoms are hints of problems. Symptoms are not to be treated but to be understood so we can support the body in its job of providing perfect health. The people I know who are mentally and physically running at their highest potential are constantly working on sufficient exercise, proper nutrition and prayer and meditation. If the machine is in perfect working order it works perfectly. If the machine is not maintained it breaks down.

I, as a metaphysical psychologist or apithologist, the study of health, believe that the chicken came first. Behaviors are learned at an early age, rutting brain function. The brain, being the body’s computer, reacts to fear and generates chemical imbalance. As with all computers; garbage in – garbage out. In my practice work on convincing people that they have been lied to. As I try to undermine the disruptive thoughts I work on convincing them to believe in a pure loving God, our heritage as spiritual beings and the grace that God bestows on us. When their thoughts have changed their fear dissipates and they slowly regain their soundness of mind. When the computer is fearless the signals from it are pure and empowering. This is why I always leave you with…

Provocative

Provocative is a word meaning to provoke. The Encarta Dictionary describes provocative as: deliberately aimed at exciting or annoying people. Do you provoke positively or negatively? Do you try to provoke at all? Are you riding through life trying to get through it or are you trying to leave more than you took from life? Do you diligently question your motives and point them in the direction of love?

I have an aggressive personality and have always provoked people. Years ago, when I stormed through life with a chip on my shoulder and a victim attitude I seemed to provoke negatively. Now that I have been sober over thirty years and am a metaphysical minister/psychologist I know myself and take all blame for my life. I always instigate my problems as I also instigate my opportunities.

I have always been a creator. I just had to decide what I wanted to create. Do I provoke harmony and goodness for the planet or do I provoke disharmony. I must go within and ask these questions to God and trust my intuition and not hope that your reaction will tell me what I need to know.  People don’t always necessarily agree with me as my provocation may bring change and change is often painful in the beginning. My job is not to please everyone. I had to decide what I am, what I believe and live it loud.

I tend to provoke; that is a given. I hope that I provoke people into action. I hope my provocation is to improve people’s lives and not destroy them. I hope that my words are always of encouragement toward one’s potential. We all have twists of differences in our personality and must be patient with each other but also must remember that we are all siblings of God. When we act in love and empathy we tend to do the right thing. This is why I always leave you with…

Esteem

I have found through over thirty years of studying the human condition that if a person is not producing something they show little or no esteem. As is the law that if we don’t love ourselves we cannot love others esteem is both self motivated and outwardly motivated. I am saddened to see people put them in such low regard as to have themselves so down their priority list that they never find time for themselves. Flight attendants tell you to put on your own oxygen mask before helping others and I would like to ask you to always see to your own needs before that of others.

When one acquires esteem one commits to their heredity and becomes Godlike. Being Godlike one must master their creative nature and create something. That something may be material or mental or spiritual. One can move from their inert personality matrix and be either analytical, controlling, social or nurturing but one must produce something.

It is my wish for our society that we offer free education to everyone at every level as long as they continue to produce something. Then if you don’t produce, you don’t eat. This would not only increase the productivity of this country it would save trillions of dollars of federal funding to support poverty. I don’t support our poverty mentality as it is counterproductive to a great and rewarding spiritual life. This is why I always remind you…
