Righteousness

I was talking with a religious friend the other day and he was being quite judgmental and I brought it to their attention. Their remark was, “I am using righteous judgment.” Religion seems to think they know the truth and that gives them the right to judge people with differing opinions. I may have opinions about other ideology but I know that no human can know God, therefore I can’t be sure that my truth is the one truth.

In metaphysics righteousness is right thought-ness. If my thoughts can withstand the grueling measure of God’s principals. A few principals of God are; love, understanding, compassion, patients, empathy, tolerance, you get the picture. If what I think can go under the heading of LOVE then I am probably close to the truth. I can never be sure because I must always remember that I have two players within myself; Soul & Ego. Soul wants me to know God and live in LOVE and Ego wants me as far away from God as possible and to live and judge in FEAR.

I often say, “I have the freedom to do anything but rob you of your freedom.” Being self-righteous is robing me of my freedom to know my oneness with others and it robs you of your freedom of knowing God in your special way. I hope in what is left of my life I see an insurgence of love and respect on the planet. I pray for peace constantly throughout the day even though it would rob me of my occupation. I am often brokenhearted to watch people limit themselves and push happiness away so easily.

To know yourself you must find those parts of yourself that show your spiritual heritage and build on that self. You must also look carefully for anything that would distract from your godliness and let it go. God will empower you to find your true self if you are persistent and hold true righteousness in your constant thought. This is why I always leave you with…

Stress

What is stress? Encarta Dictionary describes stress as; mental, emotional, or physical strain caused, e.g. by anxiety or overwork. Why do some people live in constant stress, while others, following a similar life pattern, seem to be stress free? As a metaphysical psychologist I break everything down to it’s common denominator and I can explain this phenomena quite easily. Stress is fear and fear is not God!

Stress is not an actual experience, it is merely a response to an experience. Stress is not automatic unless one’s subconscious mind is loaded with supporting software. All experiences are neutral and our freedom of will allows us all to create our own reality. Experiences don’t cause emotion, the thoughts and feelings we attache to them, or what I call software, is what creates emotion.

I have been told on occasion that I am cold blooded. The reality is that I have my own automatic  and I often times feel the same thing other’s feel. The difference is that I don’t always surrender to my automatic. I try to take time to evaluate my experience from different software. My education and vault of past experiences show me that my immediate feeling is often automatic and not to be trusted. I try to treat the feeling as it is, neutral, and look at it with mature understanding.

Now don’t think that I don’t have times where I over react as this would be the wrong assumption. I too have incidents that come at me so fast that I automatically react. These are the times where I have to go back and apologize for anything that I may have said or done while in my automatic state. No matter how long I travel the spiritual path I will never be perfect in my sight or your sight, but I know that I am always going to be perfect in God’s sight.

Over thirty years ago I read a daily reader that said, “fear, worry and doubt were disloyal to God.” That statement has embedded itself in my subconscious mind and is now in my new software. It is important to be patient because if I give myself enough time to move from automatic software to my new improved software, I seldom have to apologize because I don’t react.

I need to try diligently to respond to live, which is to see life from it’s neutral point and not to automatically assume the worse. To offer myself a new perspective I must build one. I read from five spiritually uplifting books each morning. It doesn’t matter what five books you choose but it is imperative that you give yourself an alternate package of software to replace your automatic or you will continue to react to life the way you always have. If you will take the time to inventory your reaction to life you will see what needs to be overhauled. This is why I always leave you with…

Perception

Life is perfect until we add perception. We were given free will to become the image and likeness of our Creator or become the image and likeness of our Ego. Our Soul, which is love, knows that God doesn’t make junk. The Ego, which is shrouded in fear. doubts all good. Judgment comes when we battle between Soul & Ego. We can often mix Soul & Ego, which pollutes the end product.

Perception is judgment. The King James Version of the Holy Bible, Matthew 7, 1-2, Christ said,” 1: Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2: For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” Christ also told us to, “Love our neighbor as ourselves.” I always have. I used to hate me and I hated you. I don’t know which came first the chicken or the egg but I know it didn’t work for me. Today I love me and I love you as close to the image and likeness of my father that I can.

Our perception is based on the filters we run our experiences through. We can experience life like children, as God begged us to, with wonder and awe, judgment free. Our option is to look at our experiences with fear, worry and doubt, which is disloyal to God. If we perceive our lives in constant fear we will see our lives as disasters. If we can learn to perceive all of our life as loving opportunity from God we can be happy. Righteous judgment is “right thought judgment,” which is congruent with God and love. This is why I always leave you with…

Hero

I think we have all had at least one hero in our life. I have had some and still do. I think that our inner child is constantly looking for someone to look up to. I also think that my inner child continues to look outward for a hero because I haven’t lived up to my own potential. I think that the best hero my inner child can have is me. I think I am driven by my need to be my own hero.

The Encarta Dictionary describes a hero as somebody who is admired for outstanding qualities or achievements. Why should I look for that in others and not find it within myself. I believe we are all driven to be our best. The finding of one’s own courage to stand up for what one believes in is the hallmark of personal courage. We don’t need to empty a burning building of all it’s inhabitants. We don’t need to run through a barrage of gun fire to save a life. We don’t have to anything more remarkable than to push ourselves to be our best in order to be our inner child’s hero.

If I want to sleep well, hold my head up high and be at peace with me I must constantly ask myself what I can do today to better than I was yesterday. I have overcome many hardships. I have moved beyond blame into personal responsibility. I work hard at being my best and helping others to find their best. It is not what other’s think of me that can ever be more important than what I think of me. I am perfect for I am the best I can be right here, right now. I will be perfect tomorrow if I build on that and stay dynamic in my own life. Follow me as you constantly remember…

Limitation

One’s potential is only limited by one’s self-limiting ideas. God is unlimited, therefore our humanism alone holds us back, as we are made in God’s image and likeness. I can do anything I set my mind to as my imagination comes complete with directions. I must, however take action to manifest ideas into results. The results show me my manifested limitations, allowing me to realize the truth I have accepted for myself. The best athletes in the world are the ones that only know their limitations when they meet them.

I, like my father, God, am a creator. I can create alone and limit my potential; or I can create with God and have unlimited outcomes. The more limited I believe I am, the more limited I am. Being that we were created to have dominion over our existence it is frustrating to watch how much the people of this planet refuse to accept such great power. The majority of society seems to settle for a very meager existence. The truth is that we have barely scratched the surface of our true potential.

As a metaphysical psychologist, my primary purpose is to help people overcome their limitations, which may be either mental or physical. Many of us are aware of our incredible ability to think but don’t seem to take the plunge into action that manifestation requires. Thought in action is self-actualization. We must continually question our limitations and replace them with the truth about our spiritual heritage. This is why I leave all of you with…
