Attitude

What is attitude? Why do some people have a depressing attitude and others have an uplifting attitude? Why do we enjoy being around some people and avoid others. Is there a foundation for attitudes and if so what are our choices and how do we choose?

Attitude is merely the symptom of perspective. In Zen it is said, "We don't see the world as it is; we see it as we are." We all have within us beliefs that either empower us or decay us. These beliefs bring about manifestations of similar stature. We either manifest our dreams or our nightmares depending on our thoughts and beliefs. And once we see our vision or manifestation we justifiably blame the effect for the cause. The fact is that the laws of physics, quantum physics and metaphysics state that cause is ALWAYS responsible for effect and NEVER the opposite. If we want to change the effect we must change the cause, which is our assessment.

Another source of attitude is our observation that outside influence has power over us. We allow societal pressure to penetrate us. This penetration can create a change in our thoughts that eventually changes our attitude. When we take society personally, we react. When we realize that society is experiencing its own perception and it has nothing to do with us, we acquire emotional maturity. But when society acts and we react we help in confirming societal perception that outside influence has power to shape us, which destroys all greatness.

Personality, in it's purest form, is who we are. Personality is a personal design through our DNA. All people have individually perfect DNA. If we could stay tuned in to who we truly are and stay loyal to that spiritual impression we would all acquire our ultimate destiny. God's job is to bring us the desire of our heart but with most of us, our desires has been masked by outside influence. When we realize that we are individually responsible for the direction of our attitude we can make a conscious choice to turn to God's infinite grace for the leadership that necessitates our successful destiny.

Each of us, under correct guidance, have all we need to become ultimately successful, yet we allow outer cause to create inner affect. Although we tend to blame the outer world for shaping us, it is our perception of outside stimulus and our reaction to it that actually shapes us. It is this danger that the Bible addresses as the danger of judgment."Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment" (John 7:24). In metaphysics righteous means "right thought" or judgment through grace or unconditional love.

If our attitude is loving and righteous we are living within the confines of our perfect self. We can stay tuned into God and are open to spiritual guidance. When our attitude is negative we are giving energy to the shadow, the devil, the ego or any other entity but God. God is pure, perfect love and when we focus on that we shine like a beacon. Attitude is everything and it is why I continue to remind people...

Your life is PERFECT!

Thank you Randy...right on the money as always! I would go as far to say the shadow, satan and the ego are one in same.
