Happiness

Why is happiness such a popular point of discussion? Could happiness have really become a mere symbol of success instead of the only true success? Has our society become so fixed on pleasure that happiness has escaped us? Could it be that we have become so driven by our Ego that our Soul is ignored? I believe the answer to all these questions is "Definitely Yes!"

Our society focuses on material things in an attempt to relieve an internal, unyielding obsession. The Soul cries out for God and the Ego delivers a material idol instead. Yet the Soul is not satisfied with material things as Jesus enlightened us in Matthew 6: verse 24 (King James Version of the Bible), "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Ego has only mammon to offer us as Ego is master of the material world.

Our Soul is our connection with God. The only true happiness is the awareness of our eternal connection to God through grace. Until we can understand God's eternal unconditional love for us we will never achieve true happiness. The happiest people I have ever met were spiritually inspired. It doesn't matter what avenue of spiritual devotion one finds but either we are or we are not dedicated. It is not ideas but dedication to ideas that promote happiness.

If we are devoted to goodness, we become a byproduct of our Soul. If we are devoted to evil we become a byproduct of our Ego. Ego dedicates us to me and Soul dedicates us to we. If we can achieve greatness that elevates our society and our planet to greatness there can be no greater happiness. So if you want to be intensely happy, construct a life that raises the consciousness of the human condition. And as always, remember...

Your Life is PERFECT!

"Ego dedicates us to me and Soul dedicates us to we".....i really like that Randy. I do know the first step to becoming happy is to change "Who I Be", which is my soul...im working on that! Gonna read this to "my circle" tonight...
