Commitment
As a minister, I often hear people say that there is no difference between living together and being married. The only thing I can say is that I have done both and they are as different as night and day. A prominent difference in being married is a higher level of commitment. People who are married have committed themselves to a life partnership, willing to do anything to guarantee each other's happiness.
Commitment like every other aspect of the universe is as valuable everywhere as it is anywhere. Commitment is what all successful people utilize in achieving lasting success. Commitment doesn't mean you go down with your ship. Commitment means you stay with your ship as long as there is any conceivable salvage. You give whatever it is you want one hundred percent, which is commitment. Whatever I have decided to commit myself to in my life, I have achieved.
The bible says that God is a jealous God. Of course we all know that jealousy is a human characteristic embodied in fear, making it impossible for God to be jealous, as he is all love. What is meant in this statement is that if one is not totally committed to God then one can only expect minimal positive manifestation. Positive manifestation requires support from God, therefore God only supports positive. Success is always a positive manifestation.
Committing oneself to God guarantees a great life as does committing oneself to any great idea. What is God's is good and whatever is not God is not good. All decisions may not be decisions at all but merely results of lack of decision. When we take a dynamic role in our lives, decide to work with God and commit to God and our lives with all we are, life is perfect. And always remember...
